A big concert dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Kazan National Research Technical University held at Piramida complex

On May 11, a big concert dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Kazan National Research Technical University – Kazan Aviation Institute was held at Piramida complex in Kazan. The university was founded by the decision of the main directorate of aviation industry of the people's commissariat of heavy industry on March 5, 1932.  

A laser show and a spectacular programme were presented to the spectators. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director of the Russian Federal Nuclear Center – All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Experimental Physics Valentin Kostyukov, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov and other officials were among the honoured guests at the event.

“Kazan Aviation Institute is a leading technical university. I think that people, who graduated from this institute contributed to the development and achievements of the republic. Major tasks are set before the republic today. The presence of technical staff is a competitive advantage. Our enterprises could not implement major programmes without quality education. Human capital is the basis that gives impetus to economic development,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
