Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in campaign “Immortal regiment”

On May 9, together with 120,000 people, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Prime Minister of the republic Alexey Pesoshin, Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin and other officials took part in the campaign “Immortal regiment” in Kazan.

People were carrying photos of their relatives, participants of the Great Patriotic War. The campaign was held in all cities and regions of the republic.

Rustam Minnikhanov was carrying the picture of his uncle Galimzyan Minnikhanovich Minnikhanov, who died on December 1941 near Moscow.

Alexey Pesoshin was carrying the picture of his grandfather Vladimir Ustinovich Yakovlev.
