Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan is interested in development of multi-faceted cooperation with Iranian Razavi Khorasan Province

On April 20, during the business forum in Mashhad (Iran), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is interested in development of multi-faceted cooperation with Iranian Razavi Khorasan Province.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked businessmen of Razavi Khorasan Province for their interest in Tatarstan and informed that heads of ministries and agencies, representatives of leading enterprises are on the Tatarstan delegation. “We are expecting that we will find new areas of cooperation and agree on implementing joint projects,” Tatarstan President said.

The President told that the republic is one of industrially development regions in Russia, with oil producing, engineering, helicopter engineering, and ship building being the key industries.

He also noted that Russia pays special attention to the development of cooperation with the Islamic world, and that he heads the Strategic Vision Group “Russia-the Islamic world”.

Minnikhanov told about the international summit “Russia-the Islamic world: "KazanSummit" that is held in Kazan every year.
