Head of Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations Vladimir Puchkov visits production facilities of Kazanorgsintez Chemical Company and Fire-Fighting Unit No. 43

On April 18, during his working visit to Kazan, Head of Russian Ministry of Emergencies Vladimir Puchkov visited production facilities of Kazanorgsintez Chemical Company. 

In particular, Puchkov looked around production workshops, got acquainted with some technological processes of the enterprise.

The Kazanorgsintez includes seven plants. Combustible gases (ethylene, propylene, ethane, propane, hydrogen, ethylene oxide, etc.) in pressurized, liquefied conditions and at normal pressure, highly flammable and combustible liquids are used in technological processes of the enterprise. The safety of the company's facilities by means of fire-prevention automatic systems is provided by 95 per cent in accordance with the requirements of the Fire Code 110-03.

Then, Vladimir Puchkov, accompanied by other officials, visited the fire-fighting unit No. 43, which ensures fire safety of the Kazanorgsintez Company. He inspected working rooms, equipment, and talked to its personnel. In particular, Puchkov asked firefighters if they are satisfied with their working conditions, salaries, and how social issues are solved.

Puchkov was accompanied by Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin.
