Tatarstan residents will be able to file a tax return online

On April 11, speaking at a briefing at Tatarstan Government House, Head of the Federal Tax Service of the republic Marat Safiullin said that residents of the republic will be able to file a tax return online through Individual Taxpayer Accounts on the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia without leaving their home.

As of the beginning of April, the Tax Service of Tatarstan filed 153,000 tax returns. The declaration campaign will last until the 2nd of May. During this period, residents of the republic are obliged to report on their incomes.

Tax officials are expected to receive 80,000 declarations from individuals who are required to declare their income for a total of 900 million roubles. As of today, 89,000 residents of the republic have applied for property deductions and 40,000 people - for social tax deductions. For the first quarter of the current year, 621 million roubles were returned to the citizens.
