RT President Rustam Minnikhanov met with CEO of Dubai Pearl company on May,10. Parties discussed possible cooperation within the framework of design, consulting and construction of international Convention&Exhibition Centre in Kazan that would meet modern world standards.

The meeting took place at the site of Annual Investment Meeting 2011 (AIM-2011) in Dubai.

According to Director of Department for external relations under RT President Administration, Aide to RT President on international issues Iskander Muflikhanov Tatarstan is considering possible construction of international Convention&Exhibition Centre in Kazan, and Dubai Pearl company that has serious experience in design and construction of such objects may act as a partner of RT.

It is meant that the project of World trade Centre (WTC) may be the basis of this project.

Approximate area for constructing Convention&Exhibition Centre in Kazan is estimated for 65 hectares. The centre may be located in the region of international airport “Kazan”.
