Rustam Minnikhanov meets Emir of Dubai and takes part in the opening of the 7th Annual Investment Meeting

On March 2, during his working visit to Dubai (the UAE), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening of the 7th Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) 2017, had a meeting with Emir of Dubai, Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and delivered a speech at the Global Leaders Debate plenary session during the forum.

At his meeting with Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the forum and for hospitality. He invited Arab investors to cooperate with Tatarstan.

Later on the same day, speaking at the plenary session, Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan is one of Russia's leading regions in terms of key macroeconomic indicators. He said that the republic is ranked 6th in terms of gross regional product. Minnikhanov added that Tatarstan is ranked first in the National rating of the investment climate and tops the rating of innovative development of Russian regions.
