Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended an event on the occasion of the 66th Anniversary of the Victory in the 1941-945 Great Patriotic War. It took place at the Galiasgar Kamal Theatre. Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev and Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov attended the event.

Great Patriotic War veterans gathered at the Galiasgar Kamal Theatre from all around Tatarstan. Many young people greeted them near the theatre paying tribute to the feat of front-line and home front soldiers.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov addressed the veterans with greetings and congratulated them on behalf of the Tatarstan State Council, the Government and personally on the 66th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
