Ildar Khalikov: The TIAF Forum is of great importance to Tatarstan, which has traditionally had a developed automotive cluster

On March 29, at the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the opening ceremony of the 3rd International Automotive Forum “TIAF supported by Automechanika”.

In his welcoming speech Khalikov emphasized that the TIAF forum is of great importance to Tatarstan, which has traditionally had a developed automotive industry.

"There are factories of such automobile manufacturers as KAMAZ, Ford Sollers, and a large number of companies producing automotive components in Tatarstan," he said.

Head of Tatarstan Government greeted the guests in Kazan and wished them fruitful work at the forum.

Then, Khalikov and other honoured guests got acquainted with the exhibition exposition at which new models of cars of Russian and foreign manufacturers, modern developments in such areas as raw materials and equipment for the production of automotive components, after-sales service and others were presented.
