Two-month cleaning and environmental campaign begins in Tatarstan on April 1

On March 28, speaking at a briefing at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the republic Farid Abdulganiev said that a two-month cleaning and environmental campaign (#ECOspring2017) begins in Tatarstan on April 1.

He said that during the campaign the regional territories should be brought in compliance with the requirements of environmental and sanitary epidemiological security.

According to Abdulganiev, identification of places of unauthorized waste disposal and their elimination will be the main focus.

He said that ground, water, air and rail transport, as well as quadrocopters and unmanned flying vehicles in hard-to-reach places will be used to identify violations.

Abdulganiev reminded that every year about 5-6 million roubles are allocated from the republic's budget for the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign.
