Capital repair started at 427 of 996 multi-apartment houses in Tatarstan

On March 11, speaking at a video conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the Government House of the republic, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin said that capital repair works have started at 427 of 996 multi-apartment houses, included into this year's plan in 43 municipalities.

The Minister continued that it is planned to spend 864.46 million roubles to repair 36 schools, including 145.8 million roubles to be spent on repair of seven correctional schools, and another 624.9 million roubles to repair 110 kindergartens in 2017. As of March 9, works are underway at 138 facilities.

He said that this year, 4 children's recreation camps (for the amount of 30.155 m roubles) are scheduled for capital repair in the republic. Moreover, 4 children's health camps (21.933 million roubles) will be built and 3 children's recreation camps (41 million roubles) will be reconstructed.

The republic also plans to allocate 338.2 million roubles on capital repair of 43 cultural facilities, Faizullin said. 

The Minister continued that major overhaul of youth clubs has started at 28 of 29 planned facilities (the amount of financing is 100 million roubles).

Faizullin also reported on other programmes being implemented in the republic.
