The Republic of Tatarstan and the Karachayevo-Cherkessian Republic sign Agreement on cooperation during Sochi-2017 forum

On February 28, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Karachayevo-Cherkessian Republic signed an Agreement on cooperation during the Russian Investment Forum “Sochi-2017”.

The document was signed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of the Karachayevo-Cherkessian Republic Rashid Temrezov. It implies cooperation in trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural spheres.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Temrezov for the initiative in preparing new Agreement on cooperation between the regions.  He suggested developing supplies of trucks and agricultural machinery, petrochemical products, and medicines to the Karachayevo-Cherkessian Republic.

Also, the president believes that there are good opportunities in the sphere of industry, agriculture, high technologies, culture, science, education, sport and tourism.

Rustam Minnikhanov invited Rashid Temrezov to Tatarstan and to the 9th International economic summit “Russia- the Islamic world:  KazanSummit 2017” in Kazan on May 18-20, 2017.
