Rustam Minnikhanov holds regular board meeting of Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding

On February 22, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a regular board meeting of Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding on creation of fuel elements as alternative energy sources of the future.

Making reports at the meeting, Head of the Laboratory of Solid State Ionics of the Institute of Chemical Physics (Chernogolovka) Yury Dobrovolsky and representative of the Krylov State Research Centre (St. Petersburg) Igor Landgraf told about prospects of the development of this area, as well as their scientific research.

Minnikhanov supported their proposals of cooperation with Tatarstan. He also recommended them to establish relations with KAMAZ Automaker. "The world is about to put these projects into action. We have great expectations," he said.

The Board was also informed about possible development of a new area in Tatarstan petrochemical complex through setting up a plant for production of amino acids - an essential component for feed additives used in livestock and poultry farming.
