King of Bahrain Hamad Al Khalifa: We know about Tatarstan as of one of the most successful regions of Russia

On February 21, in Manama (Bahrain), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of Russia Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov with the King of Bahrain Hamad Al Khalifa.

The meeting participants discussed issues of mutual cooperation in a number of promising areas, in particular, considered the possibility of creating favorable conditions for increasing the volume and diversification of trade.

Manturov stressed that Russia focuses on developing relations with Bahrain as an important partner in the Middle East.

The Minister said that regional cooperation plays a special role in the development of joint projects. Bahrain and Russian regions exchange delegations on a regular basis. Manturov emphasized the interest of Tatarstan in expanding bilateral ties with the Gulf States.

In his turn the King of Bahrain noted that he knows about Tatarstan as of one of the fastest growing and most successful regions of Russia. "We also know Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov well. We love and respect him," he said.
