Vladimir Leonov: More than 7,500 young people from Tatarstan have joined movement “Yunarmiya”

On February 21, speaking at a briefing at Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, Minister of Youth and Sports of Tatarstan Vladimir Leonov said that more than 7.500 young people from Tatarstan have joined the military-patriotic movement “Yunarmiya” (Young Army). 

«Russia' new project “Yunarmiya” is being actively implemented in the republic. As many as 493 young army units including 7600 schoolchildren are functioning in the region,” he said.

Leonov continued that in 2017 the military-patriotic competition "Race of Heroes" will be held in Verkhneuslon region of Tatarstan. "This event includes elements of sports and military-applied training. More than one thousand people take part in it every year," Leonov added.
