On February 18, at a coordinative meeting with heads of law enforcement agencies Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was reported on the progress of the investigation into the killing of the student of the Kazan Federal University from the Republic of Chad.

Minnikhanov instructed law enforcement agencies to take this criminal investigation under special control.
