Rustam Minnikhanov: We appreciate the work of OSCE on prevention of human traffic

On February 11, at his meeting with a special representative and coordinator of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe Madina Jarbussynova in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the prevention of human traffic is a priority task for a lot of countries and international organizations because it is connected with the escalation of social problems and decline in the living standards.

Thousands of people around the world become victims of the slave trade.

Minnikhanov noted that this criminal system is controlled by organized criminal organizations.

Rustam Minnikhanov and Madina Jarbussynova discussed topical issues of cooperation between Tatarstan and OSCE in counteracting this negative phenomenon.

Vice-premier of the republic Vasil Shaikhraziev, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, the Commissioner for human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan Sariya Saburskaya attended the meeting.
