Rustam Minnikhanov: We see progress in the work of our archival service

24.01.2017

On January 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a summary session of the State archive-keeping committee of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Making a report on results of work in 2016, Chairman of the Committee Irada Ayupova said that more than half a million requests were registered in state and municipal archives last year. The information on the length of service and salary is the most demanded. The number of electronic inquiries has increased 1.5 times over the last five years.

According to Ayupova, customer-oriented approach should be the main priority in the work of archives. In 2016 a unified archive information system was introduced in the republic. The system provides virtual access to finding aids and directories.

Providing electronic archival services via the Portal of Public Services is another way to increase customer focus.

“We see progress in the work of the archive service, which should be continued. In particular, it is necessary to prepare well for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of Tatarstan ASSR", Minnikhanov said.

Then, the president handed out state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan to the most distinguished employees of the committee.
