Ildar Khalikov meets Acting Head of Consulate General of Iran in Kazan Alibeman Eghbali Zarch

On January 17, at his meeting with Acting Head of Consulate General of Iran in Kazan Alibeman Eghbali Zarch at the Tatarstan Government House, Prime Minister of the republic Ildar Khalikov expressed condolences on the death of the former President of Iran Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.

The Prime Minister noted that the Consulate General of Iran in Kazan will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year.

Khalikov stressed that major work was done on strengthening economic and political relations during this period.

The parties confirmed their interest in further development of bilateral cooperation between Tatarstan and Iran within the framework of Russia-Iran relations.
