Tatarstan and the Gorky Railway, a subsidiary of the Russian Railways, sign an Agreement on cooperation in the field of railway transport for 2017-2019

On December 22, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov and CEO of the Gorky Railway, a subsidiary of the Russian Railways, Anatoly Lesun discussed the development of regional railway transport infrastructure, cargo transportation and other issues.

During the meeting, Lesun told Minnikhanov about cargo carriage volume the Gorky Railway has effected this year and the situation in other regions of Volga Federal District. He also noted that Tatarstan has shown positive results.

Then, Minnikhanov and Lesun signed an Agreement on cooperation in the field of railway transport for 2017-2019.

The signed agreement is a "road map" of joint activities of the Gorky Railway and Tatarstan for the next three years.
