Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov discusses prospects of Kazan Helicopters Plant development with CEO of Russian Helicopters Holding Alexander Mikheev

On December 20, at their meeting in Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and CEO of Russian Helicopters Holding Alexander Mikheev discussed prospects of the development of Kazan Helicopters Plant, which is part of the Holding.

During the meeting they also touched upon a wide range of issues related to current optimization processes and retrofitting of Kazan Helicopters Plant.

Besides, Minnikhanov and Mikheev discussed prospects of increasing the workload, and problems of continuity of highly-qualified personnel and further human resource capacity building at the plant.

"Kazan Helicopters is one of the largest enterprises in the Russian aviation industry and defence-industrial complex. It is the only company in the sector, carrying out a full-cycle production of helicopters from the design and serial production to after-sales support, training of personnel and repair works,” Mikheev said.
