Rustam Minnikhanov meets Chairman of Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan Alexander Dadaev

On December 16, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Chairman of Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan Alexander Dadaev.

Tatarstan President thanked the leadership of Turkmenistan for the decision to launch Kazan-Ashgabat flights. "I believe that these flights are very important and allow us to intensify Tatarstan-Turkmenistan business," he said welcoming his guest.

Starting from December 14, 2016 Turkmenistan Airlines has launched regular flights between capitals of Turkmenistan and Tatarstan – Ashgabat and Kazan.

Tatarstan President said that today it is important to expand trade and economic relations between Tatarstan and Turkmenistan, especially in the sphere of small and medium-sized business.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov also noted the need to consider strengthening relations in the field of shipbuilding.

In general, there is great potential for the development of relations in such areas as oil exploration and production, gas transportation, auto industry, aircraft building, shipbuilding, power engineering, supply of chemical products, pharmaceuticals and medicine, agriculture, Tatarstan President concluded.
