Mintimer Shaimiev meets Raul Mir-Khaydarov

On December 12, at the Kazan Kremlin Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev has a meeting with a well-known Russian writer, Honored Artist of Russia Raul Mir-Khaydarov on the occasion of his 75th anniversary.

Shaimiev congratulated the writer on his jubilee and wished him good health, prosperity and inspiration for further work.

During the meeting Shaimiev and his guest talked about the development of modern Tatar literature and current state of literature and art in the republic and in the country.

Raul Mirsaidovich Mir Khaydarov has written more than forty books, with a total circulation of more than ten million copies.
