Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening of XVI International Exhibition “Mechanical engineering. Metalworking. Kazan”

On December 7, at the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening of the 16th International Exhibition “Mechanical engineering. Metalworking. Kazan” and the 11th Specialized Exhibition “TechnoWelding”.

As many as 166 companies from 13 countries took part in the exhibition. Participants of the fair will discuss prospects for further development of the machine-building sector.

Welcoming the guests in Kazan, Minnikhanov noted that it was a good decision to choose the capital of the republic to hold the event. “It is a good venue for finding solutions to handle topical tasks of the sector. I wish you success in your work,” he said.

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Albert Karimov, Aide to Tatarstan President Ravil Zaripov, First Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus Gennady Svidersky, heads of regional government agencies, representatives of Russia's and Tatartsan's large machine-building enterprises took part in the event.
