Tatarstan President takes part in unveiling of the monument to metropolitan of Russian Orthodox Old-Rite Church Andrian in Kazan

On December 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Kornily, Metropolitan of Moscow and all Russia Kornily, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, representatives of Kazan-Vyatka eparchy of Russian Orthodox Old-Rite Church and other traditional religious confessions attended the ceremony of unveiling the monument to metropolitan of Russian Orthodox Old-Rite Church Andrian in Kazan.

The initiative to install the monument was supported by regional authorities in 2014. Irek group and their design project of the monument won the contest in 2016, and sponsorship funds were allocated under the auspices of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
