Tatarstan President takes part in economic forum “Tatarstan-Saxony”

On November 29, during the economic forum “Tatarstan-Saxony” at Korston hotel in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republic is interested in expanding cooperation with German companies. The forum was organized during the visit of German delegation to Tatarstan.

Prime Minister of Saxony Stanislaw Tillich, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan – Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, representatives of state authorities and businessmen took part in the forum.

The main platforms for investments were presented to German guests before the forum.

Rustam Minnikhanov said that in spite of foreign political situation, there are no disputes between the countries on the regional level. He also invited German guests to support their football team at Confederations Cup in Kazan.

Stanislaw Tillich, in his turn, noted that it is necessary to expand cooperation and continue the dialogue notwithstanding foreign political conditions. He expressed his confidence that Tatarstan businessmen would find a lot of partners in Saxony.

Albert Karimov presented major regional companies such as Tatneft Oil Company, TAIF Group, KAMAZ automaker, and Kazan helicopters plant that need German products and technologies.
