Tatarstan Prime Minister meets representatives of KERUI Chinese company

On November 25, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and representatives of the KERUI Chinese company discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation in a number of areas that are interesting for both parties.

On behalf of regional leadership Khalikov thanked Chinese colleagues for their interest to the region and the opportunity to meet. He noted that business contacts with Chinese partners have increased recently and are systematic. Besides, it was decided to open the Chinese Consulate General in Kazan, he went on to say.

Among joint projects that have been implemented in Tatarstan together with Chinese companies Khalikov mentioned the opening of the Haier plant in Naberezhnye Chelny and participation of China's National Chemical Engineering Group in construction of the Ammoniy mineral fertilizer factory in Mendeleevsk.

“We are absolutely sure that there will be more such large-scale projects with the participation of the Chinese colleagues,” Khalikov said.
