Rustam Minnikhanov holds Board session of OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”

On November 24, the proposal to create a pilot platform for manufacturing and testing products using nanoagents  - fullerenes was announced at the Board session of OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”, which was held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

The president gave a task to consider this issue with participation of TAIF, Tatneft Oil Company, representatives of construction and road industries, Kazan Federal University and Kazan National Research Technical University.

Moscow institute NIIgrafit offered to use fullerenes at some major enterprises involved in processing petrochemical feedstock.  This type of carbon was founded in 1985 and has recently been widely used.

Fullerenes can be used for producing base oils at TANECO plant, increasing tyre life, and producing isolated pipes and polyurethane wall panels.
