Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening of American-Russian Business Council Annual Conference

On November 11, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening of the American-Russian Business Council's Annual Conference. 

President and CEO of the U.S.-Russia Business Council Daniel Russell and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Renova Group Viktor Vekselberg welcomed guests and participants of the meeting.

“The meeting is taking place at a historic moment, the US presidential election has just finished. We are not using Russian and American business to its full potential. Now it is very important to overcome the existing distrust and this forum should contribute to this,” Vekselberg said.

A panel session “The Role of Innovation in Russia's Economy Return to Growth” discussed how innovation can become a new driving force, which will help Russia to achieve economic prosperity.
