Rustam Minnikhanov meets members of Russian State Duma and Federation Council of the Federal Assembly representing the Republic of Tatarstan

On November 5, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met members of the Russian State Duma and Federation Council of the Federal Assembly representing the Republic of Tatarstan.

The main tasks set before deputies are consistent upholding of interests of the region on the federal level, and continuous participation in the implementation of state programmes.

Reporting on the attraction of federal funds to the regional economy, Minister of economy of the republic Artem Zdunov set out the main aspects of work in the context of the Strategy-2030, namely the support of mono-towns, development of infrastructure of industrial parks, search for investors for Priority Social and Economic Development Area in Naberezhnye Chelny, and development of the Kama industrial cluster “InnoKam”.

Mechanisms of interaction between deputies of the State Duma and relevant ministries were discussed at the meeting.

It was also proposed to uphold interests of the region by joint efforts, advance the legislative initiatives, and use all the existing potential for the benefit of the republic.
