Rustam Minnikhanov hands in the Order of the Red Star to veteran of WWII Fatkhul Syrayev

On October 10, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the Order of the Red Star to the veteran of WWII Fatkhul Syrayev.

The official ceremony took place at the Governor’s Palace of the Kazan Kremlin.  The veteran arrived with his wife, xhildren and grandchildren.

Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that during the WWII 300 Tatarstan citizens were given the title of the Hero of the Soviet Union and became Full Cavaliers of the Order of Glory, 200 citizens received war orders and medals.
