On behalf of Tatarstan Government Ildar Khalikov congratulates Ramzan Kadyrov on taking up a post of Head of Chechnya

On October 5, Ramzan Kadyrov has officially taken office as Head of the Chechen Republic. An inauguration ceremony will take place in the Concert Hall of Grozny.

On behalf of Tatarstan Government, Prime Minister of the republic Ildar Khalikov congratulated Ramzan Kadyrov on taking up a post.

On September 18 2016, on a single voting day, Kadyrov was re-elected Head of Chechnya receiving an absolute majority of votes (almost 98 per cent of the vote).

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working visit to Latvia and will not be able to attend the inauguration ceremony. But this morning in his Instagram the leader of Tatarstan congratulated Kadyrov on his birthday. On the inauguration day Kadyrov celebrates his 40th birthday.
