Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in solemn event on the occasion of Machine Builders Day

On September 29, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn event on the occasion of Machine Builders Day at Piramida entertainment complex.

Among the distinguished guests there were heads and employees of Tatarstan President’s Administration, State Council, Cabinet of Ministers, representatives of federal authorities, and heads of major regional industrial enterprises.

“I congratulate you on the professional holiday! People who are building economic well-being of our republic and Russia have gathered here today. I express my special gratitude to the veterans. In the hardest times you worked in the industry, in which 140 thousand specialists are working today. For 8 months this year 150 machine building enterprises shipped produce for the sum of 200 bln roubles,” Tatarstan President said.

“Tatarstan is one of the leading machine building centers in Russia. Machine building enterprises make a considerable contribution to the economy and solution of social problems in our region,” Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov said.
