Tatarstan President takes part in Eid al-Fitr prayer

On September 12, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in Eid al-Fitr prayer held by the chief Kazy of Tatarstan Jalil hazrat Fazlyev at Kul-Sharif Mosque in Kazan. Festive prayers were held at all mosques of the republic today.

One thousand Tatarstan citizens together with Mufti Kamil hazrat Samigullin are on Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca.

Jalil hazrat Fazlyev read out telegrams of the Russian President Vladimir Putin and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov addressed to Muslim Spiritual Administration and all Muslims of the republic, and told about the history of Eid al-Fitr.

Jalil hazrat Fazlyev asked Muslims to do only good deeds and look after sick and elderly people.
