Tatarstan President visits new campus of Kazan international school

On September 1, on All-Russian Knowledge Day, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the third campus of the International educational center in Kazan and congratulated pupils and their parents on the beginning of new academic year.

The International educational center started working two years ago and has two campuses of primary school. The campus of secondary school opened today. Students will study all subjects except for Russian language and literature in English.

Director of the school Niyaz Gafiyatullin told that 10 teachers from the USA, Canada, Malaysia, South Africa, and Philippines, and five local teachers will work at the international school.  

Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov said that the main task set before the school is to become the best school in Russia. He continued that the construction of housing for foreign teachers and employees will be the next step.

Minnikhanov thanked leadership of Svyazinvestneftekhim Company, the main investor of this educational project.
