Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov addressed citizens on the occasion of the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan

“Dear citizens of Tatarstan!

We are celebrating the main state holiday of Tatarstan for the 26th time. This event was a starting point of the modern history of Tatarstan, united our citizens who respect patriotism, diligence and traditions of multi-ethnic Russia and our native republic.

Modernization and diversification of economy, construction of the high technology city Innopolis, development of the most successful Specialized Economic Zone “Alabuga”, creation of the biggest cluster “InnoKam”, investment attractiveness and innovative activity open long-term prospects of development of the Republic of Tatarstan.  

Over the years of existence of the new state system the growth in prosperity of Tatarstan citizens has been the main strategic goal of economic development. More than 30 socially important programmes are implemented in the republic. Houses, educational, sports and cultural facilities are being built, measures to support entrepreneurs and farms are being taken.  

Citizens have a positive attitude towards these changes, actively taking part in implemented projects and willing to influence social development.  

Dear friends! Tatarstan citizens have always had team spirit, which allows setting ambitious tasks and solving them together, with typical confidence and persistence. It makes us stronger and helps face the future   with confidence.
