Rustam Minnikhanov launches renovation and improvement works in Lebyazhie forest park in Kazan

On August 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov launched renovation and improvement works in Lebyazhie forest park in Kazan. Speaking at the ceremony, he noted that these works were planned to be done last year.

The investor of the project on restoration of Lebyazhie lakes and surrounding area is TAIF group.

It is planned to organize a recreation area there later on.

The project is now finished, and the first works to do are repair of the transfer pumping station, cleaning of the lakeside and beach area, improvement of cycling lanes and ski tracks.

State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and other officials took part in a solemn ceremony of launching restoration works in Lebyazhie forest park.
