Rustam Minnikhanov at the 5th session of Coordination Council of Tatarstan mechanical engineering enterprises: We pay much attention to development of production as well as scientific component

On August 10, at the 5th session of Coordination Council of Tatarstan mechanical engineering enterprises (Kazanskaya yarmarka exhibition center), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that competitiveness of plants and enterprises depends on their readiness and ability to respond to changes in the industry as well as effective adoption of new technologies.

Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that from the beginning of the year regional enterprises have shipped produce for 907 bln rubles, 167 bln rubles of which fall to mechanical engineering industry.

“We pay much attention to the development of production as well as the scientific component,” the president said,

One of the major projects in the republic is relaunch of production of strategic bomber TU-160, he emphasized.

A number of documents were signed during the session, namely the agreement on cooperation between Federal State Unitary Enterprise All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials and Scientific and Production Association experimental design bureau named after M.P.Simonov, Kazan Giproniiaviaprom and OAO Scientific and Production Association “Radioelektronika” named after V.I.Shimko, Ulyanovsk instrument making bureau and Chinese company Surpass.
 
Moreover, Moscow aviation institute and Tupolev Kazan National Research Technical University signed the agreement on educational and scientific activity.
