Ildar Khalikov takes part in opening of business forum “Tatarstan-Japan: investment future”

On August 8, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov took part in the opening of business forum “Tatarstan-Japan: investment future” at Korston hotel.

The investment potential of the republic was presented to members of Japanese delegation headed by Special Advisor to Prime Minister of Japan Eiichi Hasegawa.

Ildar Khalikov told about potential spheres of cooperation, namely attraction of residents to Alabuga and Innopolis Specialized Economic Zones, production of automotive components, engineering, metal working, promotion of products of Tatarstan enterprises in Japan,  agricultural industry, food production, construction, energy-saving technologies, and health care.

Eiichi Hasegawa thanked Tatarstan businessmen and Government for organizing the meeting. He informed that Japanese delegation consists of 38 people representing 20 companies. “I hope that this forum will become a place for exchanging opinions and creation of new projects,” he added.

Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina told participants of the forum about main development areas and investment potential of the republic, and the four main clusters of Tatarstan economy, - petrochemical, engineering, agricultural and energy.
