On August, 4, at the second extended meeting of the Tatarstan Presidential Council for Entrepreneurship at Koston Hotel (Kazan), President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov told about urgent problems of businessmen, which can only be solved by interdepartmental cooperation and efforts of business community.
Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President Asgat Safarov, other officials and 350 businessmen took part in this meeting.
Minnikhanov emphasized that the Council is developing and becoming an effective institution for discussion and solution of key business issues.
The President added that businessmen are worried about three key issues: economic uncertainty and falling demand, tax and nontax payments, inspections and administrative barriers.
Minnikhanov said: “We must involve businessmen into the solution of their problems.”
Today the Council is competent enough and has got necessary data of the most active businessmen, and can attract core business from all over the republic.
Also, heads of ministries and agencies should take part in the work of the project groups of the Council. The experience has shown that it influences successful implementation of projects on the development of small and medium-size enterprises.
