Tatarstan rendered 37.5 mln electronic services since the beginning of 2016

On July 9, at Tatarstan Government House, speaking at a video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of all municipalities, Minister of Information and Communication of the republic Roman Shaikhutdinov reported on results of work on rendering public and municipal services in electronic form in the first half of 2016.

The Minister reported that almost 37.5 mln electronic services have been rendered in Tatarstan during the reporting period (a growth of 50 per cent as compared with the same period last year).

"There is a significant growth in the number of electronic payments made. It is our joint work with the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities of the republic and municipalities to receive payments for utility services. The number of payments made has more than doubled as compared with the first half of last year: the total sum has exceeded 5 billion 116 million roubles. Let me remind you that during 2015 this figure amounted to six billion roubles," Shaikhutdinov said.

The Minister also said that since June this year the portal of public services of the republic has offered an opportunity to make charitable contributions to the construction of the Bolgar Islamic Academy and reconstruction of the Cathedral of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. Shaikhutdinov noted that 470 payments amounting to more than 323 thousand roubles have been already made for less than three weeks.
