Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan candidates to be delegated to State Duma at elections

On June 29, at his meeting with heads of leading TV channels at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan candidates will be delegated to the State Duma at the forthcoming elections that will be held on September 18.

Tatarstan candidates should be presented at the elections to defend interests of the republic, he said.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the elections will be an exam for the existing authorities, when voters will be assessing their work.

According to the decision made at the party meeting in Moscow on July 27, Rustam Minnikhanov heads the regional group of the United Russia party. The Tatarstan regional group of the federal list will be presented by 14 candidates.
