Ildar Khalikov meets winners of national championship “Young professionals” WorldSkills Russia

On June 22, at his meeting with winners of the national championship “Young professionals” WorldSkills Russia in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that WorldSkills is different from other competitions because it helps changing the attitude to skilled professions and increase its prestige.

Khalikov noted that competences of international standards that are used in Germany, Switzerland, Singapore and Japan are now developing in Russia. He added that programmer is the most difficult competence for Tatarstan.

Tatarstan Minister of Education and Science reminded about results of the final of “Young professionals” championship that was held in Krasnogorsk on May 23-27. Tatarstan team was ranked third and won 12 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze medals.

At the end of the meeting, Ildar Khalikov handed over Letters of commendation of the Cabinet of Ministers to winners and teachers.
