Ildar Khalikov: Direct flight Kazan-Frankfurt-Kazan is “Window to Europe”

On June 17, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Aeroflot Deputy General Director for Finance and Network and Revenue Management Shamil Kurmashev took part in a solemn opening of the first direct flight Kazan-Frankfurt-Kazan. Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin was one of the first passengers.

Ildar Khalikov said that Frankfurt am Main is one of the largest airports in the world and the decision to open the direct flight will help strengthening contacts with German partners.

Also, Aeroflot passengers can use Rail & Fly programme in partnership with Deutsche Bahn AG.

Khalikov called the direct flight Kazan-Frankfurt-Kazan the “Window to Europe” that offers new opportunities to get familiar with entertainment, medical and tourist potential of Germany.

Shamil Kurmashev noted that Kazan is one of the most important destinations on Aeroflot routemap.
