Ildar Khalikov opens XII Congress with international participation “Men’s Health” in Kazan

On June 16, in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov attended a ceremony of opening the XII Congress with international participation "Men's Health", which will be held until June 18.

According to organizers of the event, since 2012 congresses have been held every two years under the auspices of the international cooperation of the CIS countries.

Khalikov welcomed the guests of Kazan on behalf of Tatarstan President.

He noted that Tatarstan pays special attention health and well-being of its citizens. For the past few years the population of the republic has been growing.

"The notions "men’s health", "healthy lifestyle" are of great economic importance. They give not only the joy of having a family, self-confidence, but also the ability to prolong life and stay active,” Khalikov said.

The Prime Minister added that guests are always welcomed in Kazan and not only within the framework of scientific conferences. He invited all members of the Congress to visit Kazan again to get acquainted with all its sights.

This year the event will be attended by about 700 doctors from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries to share their experience in the preservation of men's health. The program also includes round tables, discussion clubs, and lectures on topical issues of men's health.
