VTB24 and the Republic of Tatarstan sign agreement on cooperation

On June 9, during their working meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Board chairman of VTB24 Mikhail Zadornov signed agreement on cooperation between VTB24 and the Republic of Tatarstan.

The parties specified the list of joint projects and will sign additional agreement between the bank and relevant ministries.

Mikhail Zadornov noted that VTB24 is actively developing relations with corporate clients, such as KAMAZ PJSC. In 2015 the bank signed agreement with the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, and increased the fund’ limit by 2.5 times this year.

Another project is development of banking services for small businesses in rural areas, which will be implemented in the context of “Bank post” business. More than 160 service points will open in the republic in 2016.

Rustam Minnikhanov said that VTB24 is a major player in the Russian market.
