Tatarstan head Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Railways President Vladimir Yakunin discuss railway transport services for SEZ Alabuga residents

Issues related to providing residents of Special Economic Zone Alabuga with railway transport services and further cooperation of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russian Railways were discussed at the meeting attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Railways President Vladimir Yakunin on October 2.

The meeting took place at Special Economic Zone Alabuga, Tatarstan.

During the meeting, Chairman of the Tatarstan Committee on development of small and medium business Timur Shagivaleyev told the management of Russian Railways about the investment project of SEZ Alabuga, the current and forecast cargo traffic, the industrial, customs and business infrastructure and the tax and customs privileges offered to residents.

Tatarstan Transport and Roads Minister Lenar Safin, Tatarstan Industry and Trade Minister Ravil Zaripov, SEZ Alabuga Director General Vasily Kudryashov, Head of the Yelabuga Municipal District Executive Committee Gennady Yemelyanov also attended the meeting.
