Tatarstan is among three Russian regions by the level of satisfaction by the quality of medical aid

Session of RT government dedicated to the problems in health care has been held in RT Cabinet in format of video conference. The event was held by RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov.

RT Minister of health care Airat Farrakhov made the key report. By his words, 16 areas within the frameworks of national project “Health” are being realized in 2010. Tatarstan is the only region where 4 more large projects are being implemented: improvement of organization of aid to patients with vascular diseases, oncological patients, the injured in road accidents on federal highway M-5 “Ural”, examination of population for the purpose of revealing and treatment of patients with tuberculosis.

By and large, 4,9 bln. roubles were obtained in current year in RT health care for realization of national project “Health”. It resulted in growth of birth rate, decrease of death rate, increase of life duration and volume of high-tech medical aid. Minister noted that Tatarstan is among three Russian regions by the level of satisfaction by the quality of medical aid.

New vascular centres will be opened soon in Zelenodolsk and Nizhnekamsk, nuclear centre on the basis of Republican clinical oncological clinic is being built in Kazan.

Airat Farrakhov also informed that health centres opened last year are functioning well.

Finally, the Minister assured that national project would b realized in time.
