Dmitry Medvedev holds All-Russia meeting on organization of children’s leisure activities

On July 1, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev visited the children's health camp "Iskra" in the Moscow region, where he held a videoconference with the regions of the country on organization of children's leisure and recreation activities. Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the meeting.

This year, more than half a million children will go to the children's summer camps. "In recent years we all, I mean federal and regional authorities, have done a lot to improve the state of children's camps," Medvedev said.

Prime Minister asked regions to pay special attention on issues related to staffing the camps, take care about the quality of food and security both during the transportation of children to places of recreation and their stay there.
