01.06.2016

On June 1, at Tatarstan Government House, a meeting chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov summed up results of work of fuel and energy and housing and utilities complexes in the 2015-2016 heating season and discussed tasks for the next season.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, heads of ministries, departments, territorial branches of federal authorities, as well as officials of Executive Office of Tatarstan President, Tatarstan State Council, Cabinet of Ministers, and other officials took part in the meeting.

"I would like to note that the entire scope of work to prepare for the 2016-2017 heating season has been carried out," Khalikov said opening the meeting.

"There are tasks for municipalities, energy suppliers and other organizations. The main one is to be prepared not only physically, but also to prepare all the necessary documents,” Khalikov stressed, adding that heads of the organizations of housing and utilities services are personally responsible for it.

"Particular attention should be paid to social facilities: hospitals, kindergartens and schools, sports and cultural facilities," he went on to state.

"Our republic has gained a lot of experience in performing well during the heating season, without rush work at the start of heat supply and with the elimination of any incidents that may occur in the system as soon as possible. There problems that still need to be solved. But the positive experience of the past two years must be taken into account in the preparation for the next heating season," Khalikov concluded.
